Riccardo Detailing Clay Blue (6 oz)

Riccardo Clay Blue is a premium mild clay bar that will effectively remove contaminants from your car's paint top coat. Riccardo Clay Blue is a slightly more agressive clay formula that the original Riccardo Yellow. Riccardo Clay Blue is very flexible and will not crumble.

How to use Riccardo Detailing Clay:

1. Wash and dry your vehicle.
2. Cut off a piece of clay and work it into a flat shape that's roughly as round as the palm of your hand.
3. Spray a mist of clay lubricant onto the area of the car you're going to clean (try Chemical Guys Luber or Sonus Glyde Clay Lubricant)
4. Lightly rub in a back and forth motion on the paint where you have sprayed the clay lube. The clay will absorb the embedded contaminants.
5. Flip the clay over as it gets dirty or simply roll the clay into a ball and press it out into your palm again. Repeat the process until the paint feels as smooth as glass.
6. When you've finished claying the paint, wash the car to remove the clay lubricant and any remaining dirt and contaminants.
7. Your paint is now ready for polishing, wax or sealants.

Notes about using an auto detailing clay bar:

1. Clay can contain abrasives and can leave micro-marring in the paint surface. Lightly rub the clay across the paint, do not rely on you force to remove the contaminants from the paint. The clay will pick up the contaminants, be patient.
2. Always use a clay lubricant when using a clay bar your paint. Do not use simple soap and tap water.
3. If you drop a piece of clay onto the ground, it is contaminated! Throw it away and start with a new piece of clay.
